  • Power Electronics & Control Systems: Developed bidirectional 500–1000 W Buck-Boost converters with PID-based closed-loop control. Implemented device lifecycles across modes including Soft-start, Soft-stop, CCM, CC, DCM, and PFM. Ensured compliance with DC current measurement standards(IEC 62052-11) to guarantee accurate energy metering and billing.
  • Fault Management & Reliability: Designed and implemented hardware and firmware fault controllers, ensuring safe operation under all runtime conditions. Optimized performance through rigorous testing and user feedback, reducing downtime significantly.
  • Firmware & OTA Updates: Developed a bootloader with Over-The-Air (OTA) update functionality for remote automatic updates. Ensured secure, seamless firmware deployment.
  • Production & Field Operations: Supervised electronic device production in China and conducted maintenance missions in Zambia for deployed DC-DC mini-grid systems.
  • Monitoring & User Applications: Contributed to user-friendly monitoring applications, simplifying the management of renewable energy systems for clients.
  • Industrial Automation & PLC Systems: Developed user-friendly PLC applications with visual GRAFCET programming and direct hardware deployment. Designed PLC development boards allowing firmware flashing from mobile applications.
  • Training & Mentorship: Regularly train young engineers and students in electronics, embedded systems, programming, and industrial automation.
